Itinerary includes:

• Return Condor ferries Jersey to St Malo.

• Luxury coach transfer to Nantes with lunch, en route, at the Vieux Moulin restaurant at Hede.

• 6 nights at the four-star, Westotel conference hotel at La Chapelle sur Erdre. In extensive grounds, the hotel has a heated pool and health spa, and superb facilities.

• 5 dinners, including wines at the hotel. 1 dinner at the imposing castle the Chateau de Brissac with wine tasting.

• Day excursion to the beautiful Parc de Briere with a horse and carriage ride through the charming thatched cottages of Kerhinet and excursions by boat through the marshes of the wildlife reserve, followed by a visit to the historic walled town of Guerande

• Day excursion to the city of Nantes former capital of Brittany. Tour of the centre on the little train with commentary. Free time for shopping with option to stroll along the river to visit the massive Machines de L’iles giant animal figures including a 12-metre-high walking elephant.

• Visit to Angers with its half-timbered houses, markets, and shops. Option to visit the imposing castle, the largest in the Loire, which includes the largest tapestry in the world(338 feet) depicting the apocalypse. Evening visit to the Chateau de Brissac for wine tasting and dinner in the chateau.

• A day in the most attractive market town of Saumur. On the banks of the Loire, the town is home to the French Cavalry school,the Cadre Noir. Option to visit the castle with imposing views across the river. The town is home to the largest tank museum in Europe featuring a unique collection including the 1917 Renault and a Tiger tank alongside a Sherman.
  In 1492 a travel-weary Joan of Arc dismounted her horse in the historic walled city of Chinon where she met the Dauphin and led the French army to victory over the English.

• We visit Chinon and the Castle where the meeting took place. Free time in Chinon. Afternoon visit to the Chateau of Azay-le Rideau which sits in the river Indre and is one of the most beautiful in the Loire.

• Friday coach transfer to St Malo with a stop near Rennes at the largest shopping mall in Brittany with 99 shops including the massive Carrefour supermarket.

• Return evening ferry to Jersey.
