• 09h50 – Direct flight from Jersey with Estrela Travel to Funchal.

• Coach transfer to the hotel.

• 7 nights at the 5-star seaside hotel Pestana Carlton, in Funchal. The hotel features two enormous outdoor saltwater swimming pools, 1 indoor heated swimming pools, direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, and a dive centre where you can experience your first underwater adventure and take boat excursions!

• 5 nights half board with drinks in the hotel, and 2 full free days to explore the island as you wish, either to visit the spectacular Monte Palace Gardens returning on a toboggan ride on traditional wicker basket, go shopping, or to dine at the many local specialty restaurants.

• Full day coach tour to explore the spectacular scenery of the northeast coast of the island. Visit to the beautiful village of Santa Cruz, before making our way to Santana to see the typical triangular shaped houses, a landmark of this municipality awarded with the distinction of ‘Biosphere Reserve’ by UNESCO. Visit to Sao Vicente, the home of the Laurissilva forest, a 20-million-year-old subtropical rainforest.

• Tour to Nun’s Valley, located in a deep valley, resembling a volcanic crater, one of the very few places in the island where you cannot see the sea.

• Visit to Madeira’s Botanical Garden, an eight-hectare garden which houses more than 2000 exotic plants from all continents, some of which are now considered endangered. Visit the Christ the King statue, with breathtaking views to Funchal’s bay.

• Tour along the south coast of the island to the picturesque villages of Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava.
