A fantastic tour to the pearl of the Atlantic, Madeira Island for winter sun!
Explore the island’s breathtaking views, traditional cuisine, and the many beautiful gardens with exotic flowers. Visit Madeira’s traditional villages set between the sea and mountains.

Itinerary includes:

• Morning direct flight with Estrela Travel from Jersey to Funchal.

• 6 nights at the 5-star seaside hotel Pestana Carlton, in Funchal. The hotel features two outdoor saltwater swimming pools, spa, 1 indoor heated swimming pool, direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, and a dive centre where you can experience your first underwater adventure and book boat excursions!

• 4 nights half board with drinks in the hotel, and 2 free days to explore the island as you wish, either to visit the spectacular Monte Palace Gardens returning on a toboggan ride on traditional wicker basket, go shopping, or to enjoy the local food and drinks.

• Coach tour to explore the spectacular scenery of the Northwest coast of the island. Visit to the beautiful village of Sao Vicente, the home of the Laurissilva forest, a 20-million-year-old subtropical rainforest, and visit to Porto Moniz,to see its beautiful natural pools set in volcanic rocks, or to visit Madeira’s Aquarium.

• A coach tour to the village of Machico, which was the first place where humans set ashore on the island, before making our way to Santana to see the typical triangular shaped houses, a landmark of this municipality awarded with the distinction of ‘Biosphere Reserve’ by UNESCO.

• Lunch at “Quinta Do Furao” Restaurant, where you will experience an outstanding view of the sea and mountain, as well as traditional Madeiran food.

• Visit to Madeira’s Botanical Garden, an eight-hectare garden which houses more than 2000 exotic plants from all continents, some of which are now considered endangered.

• Madeira Wine tasting.

• Return to Jersey with British Airways via Gatwick, with an overnight stay in a hotel at the airport.
