A wonderful tour to the Heart of England, including the many beautiful Cotswold villages, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Brunel’s Bristol, Oxford’s fabled Colleges, Churchill’s Blenheim Palace, Warwick castle’s mighty trebuchet and much more.

Itinerary includes:

  • Morning direct flights from Jersey OR Guernsey to Bristol.
  • A visit to Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s magnificent steam ship, the SS Great Britain, followed by a coach crossing of his Clifton Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge.
  • 5 nights at the four-star, Double tree by Hilton Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon with dinners at the hotel.
  • Dinner cruise the river Avon on the “Countess of Evesham”.
  • On/Off bus tickets to explore Stratford and visit Ann Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s farm and Shakespeare’s birthplace. Plenty of free time in Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • A day in Warwick with a visit to the magnificent castle, steeped in history from Norman times through the wars of the roses it features dungeons, the great hall, extensive gardens by Capability Brown, eagles and birds of prey, jousting, archery, and a reconstruction of a medieval Trebuchet which is fired across the lake.
  • Visit to the dreaming spires of Oxford with a guided tour of the town visiting some of the fabled colleges.
  • Afternoon visit to Blenheim Palace with a guided tour of this seat of the Dukes of Marlborough, the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
  • Coach tour through the pretty Cotswold villages including Stow-on-the-Wold, Evesham, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, and calling in at Jeremy Clarkson’s famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop!
  • Return flight from Bristol to Jersey OR Guernsey on 22 September.
