  • Morning fast ferry to St Malo.
  • Luxury coach to Amiens with lunch stop at Les Frutiers restaurant in Villedieu-les-Poeles.
  • Two Nights, half board, at the Novotel in Amiens.
  • Two nights at the Holiday Inn in Arras. One dinner at the hotel. Free time in Ypres to dine out and experience the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.

  • The battlefields of the Somme: Beaumont Hamel battlefield park, Thiepval Memorial, Lochnagar Crater and Delville Wood.
    Guided visit to the Battle of the Somme Museum, Albert.
  • The Jersey Contingent memorial at Guillemont.
  • The Australian Memorial at Villers Bretonneux.
  • Royal Guernsey Light Infantry memorial at Les Vertes Rue and Cambrai Memorial to the Missing.
  • Vimy Ridge Canadian Memorial and preserved trenches.
    Notre Dame de Lorette French National Cemetery.
  • Memorial to Islander William Bruce VC and the Portuguese Army Cemetery.
  • The battlefields of Ypres: Messines Ridge, Passchendaele Museum, Zonnebeke and Tyne Cot Ceremony.
  • Friday return coach with lunch break at the pretty artist’s town of Honfleur.
  • Overnight stay, half-board, at the four-star, Mercure Hotel on the causeway to Mont St Michel.
  • Free evening and full day Saturday to visit the fortified town and Abbey of Mont St Michel on the shuttle bus from outside the hotel.
  • Saturday afternoon transfer to St Malo for the evening ferry to Jersey.
